How to manage your Wednesday subscription on Wix

Wednesday offers three subscription plans: Starter, Discovery, and Outreach. Each plan includes different features and usage limits.

To compare plans and see what's included:

  1. Open your Wednesday dashboard

  2. Click My account in the bottom left corner

  3. Select Settings > Plans

You'll see a side-by-side comparison of all three plans with detailed feature breakdowns.

Start a free trial

Discovery and Outreach plans both include a 7-day free trial. Before you can subscribe to either paid plan, you'll need to activate a trial first.

🚨 Important trial rules:

  • Each Wix site can only use one trial total. If you start a Discovery trial, you won't be able to trial Outreach later (and vice versa).

  • Your trial begins immediately once you activate it.

  • At the end of 7 days, your trial automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription unless you cancel beforehand.

To start a trial:

  1. Go to Plans in your account settings.

  2. Choose either Discovery or Outreach.

  3. Click Start trial. You'll be redirected to Wix to complete the process.

  4. Follow the prompts to confirm your trial.

Your trial starts right away, and you'll have full access to the plan's features for 7 days.

Cancel a trial

You can cancel your trial anytime before the 7 days are up. Cancellation takes effect immediately, you'll be moved back to the Starter plan right away, and no charge will be processed.

To cancel a trial:

  1. Go to Billing & Usage in your account settings.

  2. Click Cancel auto-renewal. You'll be redirected to Wix.

  3. Locate the website you installed Wednesday on, then click the three dots at the right of the line.

  4. Select Cancel app.

  5. Follow the prompts and confirm the cancellation.

Once you cancel, you won't be able to start another trial on this site.

Skip the trial and subscribe immediately

If you've already started a trial but want to subscribe to the paid plan right away:

  1. Cancel your current trial (see steps above).

  2. Go back to Plans.

  3. Select the plan you want and click Upgrade. You'll be redirected to Wix to complete the payment.

You'll be charged immediately and your billing cycle will begin on that date.

Upgrade your subscription

You can upgrade from Discovery to Outreach at any time. Keep in mind:

  • You can only upgrade. Downgrades (like moving from Outreach back to Discovery) aren't allowed directly.

  • When you upgrade, your billing date resets to the upgrade date. You won't be refunded or credited for the unused portion of your previous plan.

To upgrade:

  1. Go to Plans in your account settings.

  2. Select the plan you want and click Upgrade. You'll be redirected to Wix to complete the payment.

You'll be charged immediately for the new plan, and your billing cycle will start fresh.

Cancel a paid subscription

You can cancel your Discovery or Outreach subscription anytime. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, then you'll automatically move to the Starter plan.

To cancel:

  1. Go to Billing & Usage in your account settings.

  2. Click Cancel auto-renewal. You'll be redirected to Wix.

  3. Locate the website you installed Wednesday on, then click the three dots at the right of the line.

  4. Select Cancel app

  5. Follow the prompts and confirm the cancellation.

Your billing cycle is calculated from your original subscription start date (not the cancellation date), so you'll continue to have access until that cycle ends.

FAQs

Can I try both Discovery and Outreach before committing?

No, each Wix site gets only one trial total. If you start a Discovery trial, you won't be able to trial Outreach afterward. Choose the plan that best fits your needs before activating your trial.


What happens if I don't cancel my trial before it ends?

Your trial will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription on day 8. You'll be charged the full monthly rate ($19 for Discovery or $118 for Outreach), and your billing cycle will begin.


Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?

No, there's no pause option. If you cancel, you'll move back to the Starter plan at the end of your billing cycle. You can always resubscribe later, but you won't be eligible for another trial.


If I upgrade from Discovery to Outreach, do I get credited for the remaining days?

No, upgrades aren't prorated. When you upgrade, your billing date resets and you're charged immediately for the new plan. Any unused time on your previous plan isn't refunded or credited.


Can I downgrade from Outreach to Discovery?

No, downgrades aren't allowed directly. If you need to move to a lower-tier plan, you'll need to:

  1. Cancel your current subscription.

  2. Wait until the end of your billing cycle (you'll be moved back to the Starter plan).

  3. Subscribe to Discovery as a new subscription.

Keep in mind you won't be eligible for a trial since you've already used one.


Where do I manage payment methods or view invoices?

All Wednesday subscription billing is managed by Wix. To update your payment method, view invoices, or manage billing details, log in to your Wix account and go to your Wix billing dashboard.


Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Billing policies are set by Wix. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle after you cancel. For any questions billing, contact Wix support directly.
